EIN Presswire alternative: when to switch
EIN Presswire is self-serve: US$149 for one release, US$499 for five and US$999 for fifteen (public page, read 5 Nov 2026). It is enough if you already have a finished release. Press Elevate is the done-for-you alternative: we write it, you approve the draft before you pay, from US$899.

When is EIN Presswire enough?
Stay with EIN Presswire if you have a finished release and want a low price per release. Its pricing page lists US$149 for one release, US$499 for five (plus one free in a limited-time offer) and US$999 for fifteen, which it shows as US$66.60 each. It says all packages include AP News, Nexstar Media Group and the USA TODAY Network, and detailed distribution reports. Word limits are 700, 1,000 and 2,500 words (EIN Presswire pricing, read 5 Nov 2026).

When does Press Elevate fit better?
- You do not want to write the release. You send your name, company, website, the news in 2–3 lines and a target date. We write the draft.
- You want to see the draft before you pay. You approve it first, then pay by card through a secure link.
- You want a report you can show. It lists every live link.
This costs more. EIN Presswire is cheaper per release, and Press Elevate is not the cheapest option (see cheapest press release distribution). If you already have a finished release, EIN Presswire or PRWeb is probably the better buy.
What can no service promise?
A paid release is published or sent out. A newsroom can see it and may choose to cover you. Nobody can honestly promise that, or a ranking, or a number of visits. Longer answer: Are press releases worth it?
Short answers
Is EIN Presswire cheaper than Press Elevate?
Per release, yes. EIN Presswire starts at US$149 and falls to US$66.60 per release in its 15-pack (read 5 Nov 2026). Press Elevate costs US$899 or US$1,499 because we write the release for you.
Does EIN Presswire write the press release for you?
Its pricing page lists no writing service (read 5 Nov 2026), so you write it. At Press Elevate, writing is included and you approve the draft before you pay.
Can a paid press release get me press coverage?
Not by itself. A paid release is published on news and finance sites. Their journalists did not write it. A newsroom may choose to cover you, and we never promise that.
