PRWeb alternative: when PRWeb is the better choice

PRWeb is a well-known wire. Here is when it is the right pick, and when a done-for-you package fits better.

When PRWeb is the better choice

Pick PRWeb if you write your own releases and want a recognised wire at a low price. Its public tiers run from US$120 to US$480 per release (PRWeb pricing page, read 2 Nov 2026). Higher tiers add Cision journalist lists and visibility reports.

PRWeb also has two further tiers marked “Contact Sales”. If you need a large, negotiated wire plan, ask them.

When Press Elevate fits better

Pick us if you do not want to write the release. You send 2–3 lines. We write the draft, you approve it, and only then do you pay. The price is flat: US$899 for Core or US$1,499 for Global. Read how it works in our pricing section and the FAQ.

PRWeb’s compare page lists no writing in its tiers (read 2 Nov 2026). If you hire a writer, add that cost to the PRWeb price.
